Participating in the club doesn't only focus on serving others. As it benefits many people from the outside of the club, it also has a positive affect on the club members themselves.

“More hands make for lighter work.”
We, as students, are aware of the benefits of the NHS Club as group projects can help us to develop a host of skills that are increasingly important in the professional world. Positive group experiences, moreover, have been shown to contribute to student learning, retention and even overall college success. The club has helped us to:
  • Delegate roles and responsibilites
  • Share diverse prespectives
  • Pool knowledge and skills
  • Receive social support and encouragement to take risks
  • Develop new approaches to resolving differences
  • Establish a shared identity with other group members
  • Find effective peers to emulate
  • Develop interpersonal skills such as speaking and listening as well as team working skills such as leadership, and working with and motivating others.
  • Learning podcasting and voice-acting
  • Knowledge on how to use 2.0 tools and video editors/makers softwares (such as Windows Movie Maker)
  • Improving english writing and pronunciation
→ Some of these skills will be useful throughout our academic careers and are all valued by employers.

In fact, this kind of group projects - and often do - backfire badly when they are not designed, supervised, and assessed in a way that promotes meaningful teamwork and deep collaboration that's why a thank should be said to all supervisors and all people who has put their effort, and sacrified their time for the success of the club.

Perhaps, the point that played a big role in our club is our cope with the requirements of  21st century, and our use of technology.
This is so reasonable because, as we advance further, technology is becoming more and more integrated into our society. Smart phones are now commonplace, tablets are replacing or substituting for computers and laptops, and social media has become second nature. The use of PC's in our club has kept us focused for longer periods of time . Looking up information  is a is a tremendous time saver, especially when used to access a comprehensive resource like the Internet to conduct researches. This time-saving aspect kept us, as tudents, focused on the assigned project much longer than we would with books and paper resources. Technology in NHS club enabled the use of more interactive educational tools, which allows for a dynamic learning experience that directly benefits us, to be honest. It is (technology) also importnat for its flexibility and adaptability to differentiated learning.

All of these facts had their value and I think we're moving forward day after day. We're making progress day after day. This couldn't be done if all conditions were provided.
Another advantage of using technology in the classroom is its flexibility and adaptability to differentiated learning.
